Immersion
MY film is a film following one man trying to stop a terrorist bomb plot and his ups and downs I would like to feel that my audience would feel immersed during the film and would understand how the protagonist would feel during his whole ordeal

the media practitioner Oscar Stringer visited the school today to assist with our coursework and when he looked at my production he gave me feedback saying I should re-shoot part of my production (the news broadcast) due to the bad visual and audio quality. He also gave me the idea of using a green/blue screen which would allow me to place a different background from the one I shot in the film and for this
I would use a newsroom image much like the bbc or an on scene shoot to make it effective

This is the edited version of my preliminary task but as you will be able to see it is not particularly good due to the software I was using (Windows movie maker and it's un up to date editing capabilities). I have however learnt from this and has allowed me to see what I need to do to make my foundation production successful
Inspiration
The inspiration for my film are films such as "Speed" (high speed bomb disposal film) and "THe Kingdom" (set in the middle east a film about terrorism in foreign countries)
Use of software
The software i shall be using for my production blog is Imovie and garageband.
the reason i am using Imovie is because it is simple to use editing software and sound can easily be subtracted and added in.
The reason i am using garageband is because the sample sounds are good and when mixed together will be able to make the effect of suspense that will be crucial in making my film effective as a thriller movie
